SHAKA Services has to raise all of its funding . We make regular applications to trusts and other charities for a grant. We also bid for contracts to provide specific services in a particular area. At present we have a contract with Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham PCT to mobilise the African and black community into working with us to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and sexual health in general.

We also have a contract to provide outreach services in the South West London Boroughs, Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham. This is funded by Croydon PCT.

The grants we get do not cover all of our costs so we have to raise other monies through donations or by holding fund raising events.

If you would like to support the work we do then PLEASE give a donation. Cheques/money orders can be made payable to Shaka Services and sent to the address below. Many of the people we service are not entitled to public money or funding and depend on charities like us for their survival.
